p.v: "History", a term justified p.ix-xii with respect paid to the liberties the author took when adapting his history. The reader has to judge whether the conjections are appropriate.

Remarks

Romance set in antiquity. Hitsorias are sometimes mentioned. Love story of the title page heroes Tigranes and Arsinoe. Theatrical with a good ammount of dialog, historical with the index to individual actions within the main plot.
