Books by E. Curll advertised in: Buttler, Milesian Tales (1719). - ESTC: t142995.
Barker, Jane (1652-c.1727).
Rather a second attempt to sell two books which did not sell - combines:
- Love Intrigues: or, The History of the Amours of Bosvil and Galesia [...] written by a young Lady (London: E. Curll/ C. Crownfield, 1713).
- Barker, Jane, Exilius: or, The Banish'd Roman (London: E. Curll, 1715).
The so called "Second Edition" seems to sell the pages of the prior editions mentioned. The title betrays the tendency to sell the "new romance" Exilius rather disguised as a collection of "novels"
