Text and page reproductions of the Marteau edition of The Secret History of Queen Zarah follow the first edition as reproduced by Patricia Köster, The Novels of Mary Delariviere Manley, 1-2 (Gainsville, Florida, 1971). The proofreading is not yet completed; the editors appreciate all hints at necessary emendations. Commentary and an introduction will follow.
